1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Thriftora, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a legally binding contract to use Thriftora. By using the service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under your credentials. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
4. Buying and Selling
- Sellers are responsible for accurate listings and lawful shipment.
- Buyers agree to pay the listed price plus applicable shipping.
- Thriftora charges a service fee on completed sales.
5. Prohibited Items
You may not list items that are illegal, counterfeit, hazardous, or that violate any third-party rights. We reserve the right to remove any listing at our sole discretion.
6. Fees and Payment
Payment processing is handled by our third-party provider (Razorpay). By using the service you agree to their terms as well.
7. Cancellations and Refunds
Buyers may request a refund within 7 days of delivery for items that are significantly not as described. Refunds are issued at our discretion after review.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion.
9. Disclaimers and Liability
Thriftora is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
10. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
11. GST & Tax Compliance
- Thriftora is GST-registered as an Operator of an Online Marketplace (Section 9(5) of the CGST Act, 2017).
- Our GSTIN: 06XXXXX0000X1Z5 (placeholder , final value to be populated on tax registration).
- Collected GST is remitted to the government on a monthly basis under Section 39 of the CGST Act.
- Sellers above the prescribed turnover threshold are responsible for their own GST registration and the collection of GST on the supply of goods. Thriftora deducts TCS at 1% under Section 194-O of the Income Tax Act on seller payouts.
12. Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
